Terms & Conditions

Please read this document in full and ensure you understand it’s content. By making
any booking with CuedIn Consulting Limited (“CuedIn”), and thus entering into a
contractual relationship with CuedIn, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Guarantees

At CuedIn, our philosophy is not to make promises about outcomes, change or
timescales for families or clients, however we do work to the following:

  • We consider individuals, families and clients as a whole and within the full context of their environment- presenting needs won’t be considered in isolation.
  • We endeavour to provide you with current, evidence-based, respectful and age-appropriate information and advice that fits with your individual needs and parenting style whilst not compromising attachment or responsive parenting.
  • We will not recommend any support that does not align with the current evidence base regarding sensitive and responsive care of children ie. we do not promote any form of sleep training.
  • When working with CuedIn, we don’t dictate or give you absolutes but rather work alongside you to find sustainable strategies that will best support your values. You are ultimately responsible for following and implementing any advice and strategies offered and therefore any associated outcomes.
  • We don’t believe in quick fixes, but rather encourage clients to experiment with strategies and allowing the time for these to have any potential impact.
  • We will not ask you to do anything you are not comfortable with and will respect your wishes around any plan we put in place, as long as this does not raise child or adult safeguarding concerns.
  • All advice and information is provided in the context of our training and experience, this may evolve and change as more information becomes available or different training is undertaken by practitioners.
  • We operate under guidelines or best practice regarding matters like sleep, supporting behaviour, as well as local legislation.
  • We have no conflicting or financial interests in any recommendations we make.
  • We do not provide medical advice and our support does not replace the need for formal medical or psychological support if/when required. If we believe there is a medical concern or significant mental health difficulty, we will have a discussion with you and make any referrals, as appropriate.
  • If we do not feel we are able to support you with a particular issue, we will happily point you in the direction of another professional or service that may be better suited.

Health and safety (in person appointments)

Parents/caregivers/staff remain responsible at all times for any children present. CuedIn
cannot be held liable for any accidents caused by a child being unsupervised.

If the child or any other persons attending appointments have any severe allergies or
medical conditions that may impact on appointments, you must notify CuedIn at the
time of booking to ensure your safety.

You must not consume or be under the influence of any alcohol or drugs during your
appointments, besides those prescribed by a medical practitioner.

If anyone within the household is displaying any cold or flu symptoms all reasonable
attempts must be made to notify CuedIn with as much notice as possible. The
appointment may alternatively take place virtually or it must be cancelled.

Any member of the household who is ill must be clear of all symptoms for a period of
48 hours prior to an in person appointment.

Only immediate family/those living within the house should be present at the time of
the appointment, unless prior agreement made with CuedIn

Fees

CuedIn reserves the right to change any price at which we offer goods or services, and to correct any errors in the pricing contained in our website or in a quote to you. CuedIn shall have no liability for any such changes or errors and is not bound to fulfil services at old or erroneous prices. If a price is mutually agreed upon in writing by both parties, however, then we will abide by this agreement.

An itemised invoice will be sent following the session or in the first week of the month for services in the month preceding. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed prior to this.

The appointment fee will be outlined at the time of booking. An estimate of any additional costs e.g. extra reports, meetings, special requests, may be requested prior to appointments; however, this is subject to change based on actual time spent on any additional services.

Payment is not contingent on appointment outcome. Failure to pay invoices can lead to appointments being withheld until payment is received. Further action will be taken to recoup costs as required.

Cancellation

48 hours’ notice is required in the case of a cancellation.

  • For cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance, a full refund will be given.
  • For cancellations made between 24-48 hours in advance, a 50% refund will be given.
  • For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, no refund will be given, unless extenuating circumstances.

Appointments cancelled by the practitioner (i.e. due to sickness) will not be charged and will be rearranged for a mutually convenient time. Appointments where a family member is not available on arrival will be charged at the full session rate.

Appointments where the child or anyone else is the household is presenting with cold or flu symptoms on arrival will be cancelled and the session will be charged in full.
